It was a nice place and they aren't very strict, however I would recommend bringing or buying your own skates as the ones provided garnet very food and they don't grip the ice properly.

The people are nice, the ice is reasonable, all the basics you'd expect from a rink. But their scheduling is so unreliable for open hockey. There have been a number of times this year that I showed up when the schedule indicated there would be open hockey, only to be greeted by an empty building, for no (stated) reason. Otherwise this is a good rink. Their reliability is awful though. UPDATE: I went there for the first time in 3-4 months, and of course, they cancelled the session. I wasn't the only one who showed up too, and had to turn back around and go home. I know they're nice people, but after a while, kindness becomes a pretty poor replacement for competence.
